There are 5 totems in the base game, known as the Alley of Totems, each giving special prizes to help game play. The higher a totem's rank, the better prizes it will give out. The totems appear on the map between Manor House Gate and Enchanted Ball and are introduced as part of the Tutorial quests.
Max number of Ranks for the totems are 10, upon reaching that Rank players will see a "future update" message when clicking on the totem as they have reached the maximum number.

Most of these totems were rewarded from special seasonal events for completing an event-specific goal. Previous seasonal events have asked players to open all five event chests in order to be awarded the totem, however, in the 2018 Halloween and Christmas events, players were asked to collect 250 items from the bonus (event) mini-games to be rewarded the totems. This was changed again in 2019 when players were asked to complete the event case in order to be rewarded the special totem and so far has remained the same goal that players need to reach in order to get the special totem.
The Unbreakable Warrior in the Lower City and the Beacon tower in the Upper City's are exceptions to this as they have not been limited to a specific seasonal event and have occasionally had other goals for acquisition and upgrade rather than finishing the event case.
As with the other totems in the game, these totems have ranks with rewards given out when ready to be collected but unlike most of the other totems these ones don't have a goal that needs to be completed in order to reach the next rank. If players want to reach the next rank then they have to wait until the next relevant event to earn it.
Unbreakable Warrior[]
Standing on the plaza between Bridge and the Pier, this totem was originally awarded to players who participated in the very first event "The Mystery of the 5 Seas" in September 2015.
For the following 7 years the totem stayed rank 1 and was unobtainable for newer players until it received an update to its name and functionality in 2022.
Players have since had the following opportunities to acquire or upgrade their "Unbreakable Warrior" totem:
- The Legend of Mountain Peaks of January 2022, as a reward in a post case goal for exchanging 4500 Big Pandas in the Curiosity Shop.
- The Incident at the Zoo event of June 2023, as the final reward in the Artifact Hunt for players who purchased the Golden Ticket.
- The Call of the Heart event of February 2024, as a reward in a post case goal for exchanging 4500 Big Pandas in the Curiosity Shop.

This totem is located in Upper City between the Movie Theater and the Architect's Gardens and was first awarded during the Ghosts of Stone's Antiques event of January 2021. The following events offered further chances to acquire the totem, or upgrade an existing one:
- The Inherited Mystery event of June 2021, as a reward for completing the Guest from the Past case during the event.
- The Violet's Game event of July 2021, as a reward for completing the Playing to Live case during the event.
- The Treasure of Dark Depths event of September 2021, as a reward for completing the Call of the City Dungeons case during the event.
- The Note From the Fog event of July 2022, as a reward in a post case goal for saving 14.500 seconds in the event location.
- The Secret Treasures of the City event of January 2023, as a reward in a post case goal for finding 2500 search items in the event location.
- The Melody From the Fog event of July 2023, as a reward in a post case goal for exchanging 4500 Memory Petals in the Curiosity Shop.

Ready to be collected and charged
Players can see if their totems have been charged by a visiting friend or not by the clasped hands over a totem. According to G5 Support, players now need to wait until the totem is ready to be collected in order to collect their friend bonus when before, that didn't matter.
A charged totem can give extra coins, strength, and energy depending on the totem.
