The fragrant cherry tree petals are dancing in the wind. Spirit dwellings are hiding amongst the moss and the stream is bubbling. However, challenging trials await us within the majestic nature of the Japanese Garden!

- The Location Description

The Japanese Garden takes place outside of a large temple that appeared in front of the Riverside Abode and Tea House. The lake that passes through the garden is surrounded by many blossoms, stepping stones and a small bridge. There are lanterns on the flowering branches of the cherry blossom trees, and a small pond on the right full of live carp. In the background, there is a mountain reminiscent of Mt. Fuji.

The story revolves helping the cast of characters complete a trials that relate to their skillset or personality (Mastery). If they fail, they lose the ability that they most value, and will fall under an everlasting sleep.

The player's position overlooks the waterway and Japanese scenery, unable to see inside the temple however. To find objects here, it is suggested that players look out for the grass, blossoms and waterfall that may hide things behind them.

In addition, it is the first Location to have an animated appearance on the map: lanterns periodically brighten and fade, fish jump out of the water and cherry blossoms fall from the trees. It is also the first Location to have its background music changed from the original track.

As this is a Japanese style location, it has thematic Japanese items, as well as items redesigned to fit with the motif. Please check under Trivia for a more in-depth explanation of what some of these items are.
